We know it's not going to be cell shaded. You can see that if you watch the video for it. It's going to be in the "Realistic Anime" category, which with the technology isn't too hot. It's very difficult for some to map a skin on a 3D character model and make it look hand drawn. Tales of Symphonia did a very good job at the "hand drawn-3D" effect. Had they not made the characters so blocky in the hands area, and had made the characters' lines of definition (like their eyes or hair) more sharp (When the camera gets up close, the characters features look pixelated) then I would by all means, urge Sonic Team to go with this style of art. PSU so far looks like if they had taken the current character classes, turned them into toys (or "action figures" if you wanna' be a puss about it. I still play with toys and so do you so get over it.) and then upped them with the pretty.
