compatiblity between ds pso and gc pso

with the idea of a pso coming out for ds...

would there be any possibility of linkage between ds and gc..?
wouldn't that be glorious if you could play on ds...
while playing with a friend on gc...

i think that would be amazing...
of course it would have to be with future versions of the game though...
