Seconded; I usually kill one Nar/Mil and then just leave its rare sitting on the ground until I kill the next one. 
Too bad that doesn't work as well with Al/Pal Rappies...
The way to pipe them is in Waterfall Tears, yes. A few rooms into Cave 2, you'll find a bunch of five. Run around the room with your menu up to set off the traps around the room, then run against the door in the east wall to make the other four lilies appear. Personally, I always take enough EDK to guard against Ob Lily Megid when I'm piping Mils, so I usually make my pipe near the west wall, where I can see all nine lilies pretty clearly.
