For splitting the Slimes, use a Charge multi-enemy-hitter weapon (and carry no Meseta) and do Extra-Extra-Heavy combos, or you can use Rabarta (better than Gibarta), and Forces can use Hildeblue's Head (but it's as easy as Rabarta).
The Cure/Freeze you're looking for isn't all that neccessary either; if you tap LeftRightLeftRight... really quick on the control stick, you'll break out really quick. The Revival units only heal 1 HP/TP every 10 seconds, and a PB/Create does 1 PB every 30 seconds.
So you really have no need to hunt Red Slimes, it'll just cause stress (and alot of it).
