So, does anyone else here listen to JRock, that is Japanese Rock Music? This stuff is great! One examble is the group "The Pillows" who did the ending theme to Furi Kuri. Quite a few of them do music for anime titles as well. There's a band for every taste, some dark and into heavy metal, and others more lighthearted, and yes, even some ballad groups
