You need to beat Doc's Secret Plan (beat Secret Delievery and unlock Ruins) and talk to Montague while playing in Unsealed Door. You need to have the enemy part on you, you hand it over, wait a moment, and get back the weapon. If you want to convert multiple parts though, you need to quit the quest and restart it again. So if you have like 12 parts, it get's annoying.
