Acoustic is totallly different to learn, if you intend to play electric, it's best to start elecric, that way your fingers can get used to the wear and tear, as well as the feel on the strings, your body can become accustomed to the weight, and also, you can develop an acoustic style on a electric guitar, wherea's those same electric styles wouldn't work too well on an acoustic, (people have learned this in the past when they try to fob me off with an acoustic that I need an electic for).
Anyhow, check out my new guitar:

The specs are:
Pickups: 2-Open Coil Humbuckers.
Hardware: Chrome.
Scale: 24.75".
Nut Width: 1.68".
Neck: Bolt On.
Neck Mat: Mahogany.
Fingerboard/Inlay: Rosewood/Dot.
Body Mat: Alder.
Finishes: Emily The Strange Graphic.
A description of is is:
The body of the Epiphone Emily the Strange guitar is an Epiphone G-310, with the pointed horns of Gibson's classic SG style. Emily's mischievous face peers out from a spooky, swirling crimson, white and black graphic that includes her favorite saying, "People Are Strange.". Sabbath, one of Emily's four cats, also appears on the body of the guitar, and a pair of cat's eyes are inlaid in pearl on the fingerboard at the 12th fret. The swirling motif repeats on the headstock, which also sports "Emily the Strange" on the truss rod cover.
I got it for the neat price of £229.98 too, which isn't a bad price for a guitar, and is one of my cheaper ones, (I bought this one for the design, rather than the value).
