Ok, I got some information about the guitar I'm purchasing soon from my friend. Its a Yamaha Pacifica 112 (or some number like that), and it is silver with a black scratch board.
I have a picture, but it was huge...so I did a crappy job of resizing it...its an attachment.
So...see what you think. Im getting that, an amp, some Peavey leads, a hard case and plectrums, and strings...for £150. To buy new is £315+...so I think its a good idea.

Exactly. He's a beginner guitarist. Which is why he hasn't got a really expensive guitar. And he doesnt play keyboard, so he isnt interested in a £3,500 one.
