Yeah, that was the thing I was on about. In the manual it says something about being able to use your EX Meter to do something special, so that must be it - but I've no idea how to.
Back to the AI beating though, I tend to use a Claw or Al Rappy to attack first, then a nasty nasty spell from my Chaos Sorcerer... I'm a technique deck kind of guy. (Although I need to add something like a Dark Belra or a Hildebear to get around that frustrating God's Shield Genbu in Scandal 1. Bloody Action Disruptor.)
