Basically there are two Grand Prix things. The Nitro has all new tracks which made me say WOW! when i saw them. Waluigi's Pinball and Tick Tock Clock the most impressive. Then there is the Retro that has remastered tracks from the old games. Each Cup comprises of one track from the SNES, N64, GBA, and GCN.
The carts are really cool too. I'm getting the hint that you can earn more carts later as you race. "Currently Selectable Karts". The map on the lower screen not only maps the course with detail but also shows you incoming shells, where bananas are, and incoming racers.
You can set your name to whatever you like also.
The 32x32 customizable decals are shown on different places according to the cart you choose to race with. On the standard kart it puts the decal on the front. You may hand-draw these or use an interface provided. It gives you plenty of colors and tools to work with.
I, not having wireless internet, have not raced online yet. But when i do you can count on me racking up some wins for us. Don't worry I will either have the USB Adaptor or a wireless router long before the tournament starts.
Overall: 10/10
Graphics: 9/10 (some easily recognizable 2d graphics. but done well)
Sound: 10/10 (very very well done soundtrack, stereo and everything)
Gameplay: 10/10
