H.D. support-categorically NO.
Nintendo have stated that this would push up costs in all areas. Does this matter? No. 95% of gamers will be plugging in to a standard CRT tv set anyway so any graphical improvements the other 2 consoles have wont show that much. At launch there will be pretty to look at titles. Please people remember the first Star wars game for cube at launch? How gorgeous did that look?
Release date-Almost guaranteed to be Nov.2006 Japan, with U.S. and europe to follow very closely indeed.
Price-Definitely lower than 40.000 yen/$300/200gbp.
Market share-anyones guess atm.My own personal opinion from studying reasonable ps3/x360 forums is that Revolution will be bought as a second console by these owners as more of a curiosity than anything else considering the almost guaranteed lower price of hardware and software. We are back to the days of $80/60gbp game prices with ps3, as blu-ray/ps3 dev.costs are huge-believe.Ironically this would result in the new Ninty console actually being market leader without trying. Lets hope that train of thought continues..lol.
Lastly a bit of my own educated Nintendo revolution speculation.
All over the 'net there are many wild theories on what the supposed last big Rev. secret is. Let me enlighten you all lol, i believe its not a headset or other such outlandish(expensive) thing. i reckon that the last secret for the Rev. will be a built in screen and rechargeable battery pack. Ok so the rev is supposedly the size of three dvd cases then. Try this, put three cases together stacked and then open the top case. Imagine it as a rev and think how you have just d/loaded some old snes games then go and play the outside in the sunshine/fresh air. Yes it kinda becomes a large DS really but i think this is a very plausible thought and COULD be the reason Nintendo are so tight-lipped about it, considering they have been banging on about portability etc. This kind of tech. is not expensive at all(DS is cheap,2 screens built in battery pack etc) and certainly would be "revolutionary" in a home console.
