Thanks Lee, I was gonna do something along the lines of that.

But I have good news! After some VERY extensive cleaning (And I mean VERY... I used up an entire bottle of CD cleaning solution, 2 cloths, as well as the CD cleaning kit, and almost an hour of time) My PSO disc loaded. I'm still terrified to play the thing, as I can smell the corruption, but at the very least, the loading screen works.

However, I'm probably still going to knock their brains out and tell them to get me a new disc >< The only way this could get worse was if it only worked long enough to corrupt my characters.
