this is the main reason because i have 2 pso copies and 1 original, the copis work perfectly but i can't go online, the original only works well when the dc is cool, after 4/5 minutes of playing, if i put the original, then i can forget playing sice it wont recognize the cd, or in the midle of loadings it will go to the dc menu.
you can try and remove the scratches or then buy a new pso disk, but first try to remove the scratches.
