But I'm still probably gonna get a new disc, the 'artistic design' in scratches on the bottom of that disc worry me, and the disc is probably beyond repair. So, I'll play on Kyoneru for awhile, only thing to lose there are my recently farmed mags, and a few days of time. Then I'll get a new disc.

I wouldnt be so sure about that, I rented a game and it was scratched to hell and it didnt even work. I brought it back to the rental shop and they put it in their disc cleaner and it came out without any scratches. It's worth a try, it'd be cheaper to do that than to buy a new copy.
