The experience thing is simple. People don't want to bother fighting an opponent over, and over again to get that little amount of XP. Even on GC, it takes a very long time to get to level 200, the higher XP values just make it a little faster.Hit mats were taken out because ATA is the smallest useful value of stat you have. Luck is alright, but doesn't help that much, whereas ATA is something that is required, but can much more easily be raised with units and mags.Weapon percents, again, if you spend 600 hours getting a weapon, and get it with -50/-50/-50/0/0 you wouldn't be happy now, would you? Sure it's rare, but if it's a pile of crap, it'll just get thrown in the bank to bring out and show off, or to brag about. Oh yeah, plus the percents work differently on version 2 than they do on eps1+2 GC, do they not?I'm not certain about the photon in enemy weapons, but i think it's due to the fact that some enemy weapons (DS-Buster/Shield combo) become powered up enough when used in conjunction with each other.
