1. Because the negative percentages were stupid in the first place... others already made the best point as to why they were stupid... I know I sure as hell wouldn't want a... oh say... -50% hit Spread Needle or something.
2. You can add the percentages anyways... even if it IS really expensive in terms of Photon Drops.
3. Hit materials were too potent... if they still existed it would be EXTREMELY easy to max any character's stats. ESPECIALL FOnewearls and HUnewearls since their BIGGEST gap has always been ATA, and if you can max any class's stats... it gets rid of the individuality of everyone's characters... we'd just be a bunch of clones. That's not any fun at all... so Sega removed them entirely...
Oh and for the record... Hit Materials don't exist at all in GCN or BB at all Anti. The materials you were thinking about in Challenge Mode and certain quests were TP Materials.
4. I'd rather not spend 2000 hours getting to level 200. The game's too small for that. So no... the V2 EXP WASN'T fair, so they corrected it. Suck it up.
