I got like that once or twice by accident. It's no big deal though, I had some good friends to help me out at the time and I'd have done the same for them if they had needed to drown their sorrows
It is irrisponsible to drink to that degree though, particularly on a regular basis.
I myself don't drink at all anymore. It got boring and hangovers got old. And anyways I have a girlfriend now, to put myself in a situation where 'silly' things might happen is not responsible or loving. I don't miss the drink, though.
Just flow your own way, don't follow the crowd. The crowd is mostly made up of chavs and emos, and who wants to be either of those things? It's either being shallow or giving the illusion of depth. If you want to have true depth break the mould a little.
