Believe in long-distance relationships?

This is one of most other posts on I should say my opinion and experience, but I can't because of my english :| :'( I'll try to do my best (sorry for the mistakes).

I knew my first boyfriend on the net, chatting on DreamArena (Dreamcast Community, who didn't remeber it? ^^). In our case, the distance between me and he were about 400-500 km (more or less). In 1 year of relation, I only saw him in 2 times: the first tame he came to my home, and the 2nd time was me who went to visit him.
In both cases, we spend 1 week together. I felt very bad after saw him, because I didn't want to sepparate of his side.

But the relation with that guy finished, and now I'm with another boy, since 2 years, 10 months, 11 days and some minutes xD We're separate too, but only for 1:30 traveling on train. I saw him every weekend (from friday to monday, I don't have classes this 2 days) and thus and everything I feel bad when it's time to turn back home and "normal life": work, school.... I hope to finish sutdying in June, work hard, gain money and rent a house with him.

To finish, I wanna add one last thing: if the love is real, it support all the dificulties and distances. Good luck for all the lovers ;-)
