Apparently this is easier said than done. You'd think it's obvious to grip it at all times, but for sports games like bowling or cricket, in real life you'd be letting go of the bowl or ball after you swing it, so I can almost understand why people end up throwing their Wii Remotes. Funny!
The strap shouldn't be breaking that easily though. There's a design problem here.
