Haha, wow. I missed that part totally, and usually I can spot a sexual reference a mile off. I'm getting rusty.
Argus was a giant with 100 eyes, also called Panoptyes, which means 'all-seeing' in Greek, apparently. He was set to guard Io, the mistress of Zeus, so Zeus sent Hermes to kill Argus. Argus got turned into a peacock for some reason.
