Are you always this cocky, or do you just assume everyone else is inferior to your stupidity?
Testy aren't we? What electric types beat Starmie out for speed on the switch shall we, and we'll just see my "stupidity"...
Starmie has a max stat of 329 in Speed on a neutral Nature, 361 on a beneficial nature. If you're going with the Standard Deathstar, you'll be going a Modest Nature Special Sweeper. Assuming you want an all out sweeper you'll be putting the standard 6 HP EV's, 254 Sp.Atk.,254 Sp, This will give Starmie, assuming he has perfect IV's stats of
HP: 324
Atk:224
Def:
Sp.Atk:328
Sp.Def:
Spd:361
(Those are what matter.)
Standard set of:
Ice Beam
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
(Diamond and Pearl movesets make Shadow Ball special.)
Raichu has a max speed stat of 328 on a beneficial Nature. If you're going off a max speed benefitting nature the best stat it could have for Sp.Def. is 259.
Magneton's max Speed stat is 262 on a Beneficial nature.
Electivire's max Speed stat is 317
Ampharos 229
Raikou 361
Manetric 339
Zapdos 328
Luxray 262
Those are the main electric types that could hurt my little Starmie....And only one,...... A LEGENDARY 00B3R...... matches it for speed.
So if I were actually stupid enough to not switch out the Starmie for a DDtar or Rhyperior or Jolteon (For the inevitable Volt Absorb I would get.) I would not only land the first hit, I would do considerable damage since most of those are Physical in D/P...Shadow Ball would hurt quite a bit.
