Also, you can't rev up in sonic 1 for a spin dash. And in sonic 1&2, you don't get the slash shield. This is most annoying in S2 because if you have 50 rings and jump you will go super - like it or not Tongue

And if you dont have all the emeralds you need by doomsday you should technically already be stuffed. Even if the game lets you get away with it...

And that Doesn't really matter I guess, seeing as you can get like, half your emeralds on angel island and the other half in mushroom hill alone Smile they have a mad amount of giant rings!
