anybody seen the commercial about the scientists that want to get on mars?

I'm going to pull out my debating skills for this.

one word. IDIOTS. there is no possible way we are ever going to get on mars.

That was said about the moon. Lookie, we made it.

yet they actually want to create a second world.

Well this one isn't doing so good, unless you're blind to pollution, global warming, destruction of raiforests, etc.

Lol. Humanity is advancing, we don't need guidance for a so-called supreme being. We never did. We have conciousness for a reason; so we can make our own choices.

but it's scientifically impossible. first of all we'd need to transport all of the freshwater on the planet we'd also need there to be enough oxygen.

Polar ice caps are melting, causing rising sea levels here on earth. They could quite easily take those ice cubes up and do it that way.

there'd also have to be a magnetic field and an ozone layer. then we'd need to get plants and animals there. or just plants.

We got people up on the moon, we got robots onto Mars, we can do that. Hell, your own damned religion has some old pat who apparently built a giant boat and put two of every single type of animal that existed on it. This is an undefeatable point by you, due to defeating it meaning you'd need to partially renounce your faith.

either way. if anybody can still see some way we'd be able to get a colony on mars please share it with everyone.

Quite easy, in my view. Think of it this way; technology is advancing in leaps and bounds. We can make robots and artificial intelligence which is able to rival the human mind. We are also able to create many things. Put these together in some form and I'm sure we'll be able to find a way to create a machine which can make Ozone, oxygen, etc.

Maybe within a couple thousand years. (if the human race is still around at that time)

That's quite a narcissistic statement. And also extremely defeatist. We've been around for a hell of a long time already, I doubt we'll expire that quickly.

I think we shouldn't be trying to think of way to find a replacement we should be fixing the current one.

It's not always possible to fix what's broken.
