I shall take this in a professional manner, as you are obviously lacking in mental capacity, so much so that you fail to see the gaping holes in your ideals. Add to this I find your manner of speaking both offensive and condescending.
The definition of need is not that you have to have it to achieve something. This is a contradiction in terms anyway, as having to have something is exactly the same as need. Need is an obligation and a requirement, a pre-requisite to fulfill an aforementioned parameter.
Yes, you cannot give me proof, not having proof means you must believe solely on hearsay and blind faith. I'm ignoring the rest of this paragraph.
Humans are, as I have already stated, a random mutation. We do not have gills because we live on land, our breathing recepticles have therefore adapted to fit our new situation. We do not have any need for tails unless we were to suddenly started babbling and whooping and climbing trees. Tails provide balance, and in some cases (reptiles) a defence mechanism to escape predators. We have claws, in the form of finger and toe-nails. We have made tools, so that we don't need to have long nails.
Belief itself is a tale. When it falls down to the sword, the public at large are idiotic sheep, fanatics who jump in the bandwagon whenever something new comes along. Ban this, ban that, he's gay so I don't like him, lesbian, phwoar. There has been a recall of a bill of rights in the US very recently which takes some rights away from homosexuals, for the simple reason that those who passed the bill do not like homosexuals. I would wager they have nevereven met a gay person, and if they have they did not even know.

Darwinism is not a "last resort". Darwinism, as I have provided ample examples of above, has hard evidence. Whereas religious sectors never give any evidence, and some religious fools leap on the horse saying "Oh yes, Jesus rose from the dead." They cannot prove it, and their opinions are discounted in the world of science. However, the theory of evolution, every new species of creature, every branch-off of every creature is scrutinized carefully, and it takes a great number of the world's leading scientists before a decision is reached.

(Washington) House Democrats are reportedly resigned to removing the Matthew Shepard Hate Crime bill from defense authorization legislation.
Congressional Quarterly reports that House Democratic leaders believe they lack the votes to pass the measure.
The Shepard Act would add sexuality to the list of categories covered under federal hate crime law.
It passed the House in May and the White House threatened to veto it. (story)
In an effort to get around a veto the Senate version tied the measure to the 2008 defense authorization bill. It passed in September (story) and then went to conference where the two versions of the bill needed to be harmonized for a final vote. Since then the bill has been tied up. (story)
Congressional Quarterly in a Tuesday report said that there now are enough votes to scuttle the legislation if the Shepard Act remains attached to it.
CQ which covers Capitol Hill extensively quoted unnamed House aides as saying House members on the conference committee are rewriting the defense bill and will likely recommend leaving out the hate crime provision.
That has apparently sparked differences with Senate conferees who want the Shepard Act to remain. Nevertheless it is expected that a compromise will be reached where the act will not be part of the spending bill.
"It looks like itâs got a lot of trouble,â George Miller (D-Calif.) told CQ. "o far, nobodyâs come up with a whip count that says it could pass."
Adding to the troubles for the Shepard Act is the White House which has said it will recommend the president veto the bill if it contains the hate crime measure.

The Shepard Act is one of three LGBT measures in Congress. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act and Don't Ask, Don't Tell are likely to be put over to the next session which begins in mid January. If that becomes the case they would die on the order paper when the Congress ends next fall and would have to be reintroduced in the next Congress.
