There seems to be a GC fanboy majority here, so I wouldn't take too much notice of the opinions Tongue

Both console have their pro's and con's, but I choose to play on Gamecube as I already have the console and have many friends on the GC version. I suggest you look for the good/bad points of each console elsewhere and then make your own mind up.

If you intend to play Ep3, then the GC version is probably your best bet cost-wise.
