Serpent7, the word n00b means moron, idiot, or branless person, no I do not know how it originated, probably from the word newb, as you have stated. But words may evolve over time, so the word may not have the same meaning that it had originally...meaning that it could have evolved to mean idiot, who knows...what is on that site is to be trusted, Immeyournot made a stupid statement in calling one of the biggest gaming communities on the internet "meaningless crap".

Despite what seems to be popular belief the word n00b means idiot, and untill you can give me a link to a website proving me wrong...then you are wrong in my eyes. I have given proof of my statement, nobody opposing my point of view has, get some evidance.
