Sorry for the dely, been away. Back for 2 days then i am off again so another part will be slow as well.
Kain rematerialised into the thick of a rainforest. The air was thick enough to grab and it tasted of sweat. Scanning around he looked for any sign of recent movement but could not find it. Perhaps this person didn't walk... From behind him he heard a rustle in the bushes and began to near it. He brushed them aside to find.. nothing but a big flower. Its petals in full, glorious bloom. As he turned away to continue his search he heard an unmistakeable hissing from the plant he had just left and something hit him on the back of his head before he could turn. The projectile felt something like a sticky brick thrown at 50mph. As he got up, his head still spinning from the blow, he came to realise that the beautiful plant he had seen was actually his attacker. Kain may not have been the quickest or brighest of hunters but he sure knew how to fight. With his target in his sights he whipped out a pistol and shot the plant in it's mouth as it began to spit again.
Walking on Kain came to an overlooking vista from which he could see the whole side of the island, from its flowing coast to its towering mountain peaks. Then, out of the corner of his eye Kain spotted a figure he would never forget. His long dark robes gathered around him, it was unmistakeably the mysterious force. Hopping down the hillside to the beach below, Kain landed with a dull thud onto the soft, glowing sand. He began to shout and run after the force when, as he veered around the corner he saw why he had no answer. The force was surrounded by countless ape-like creaures. Kain would have to hang back, not even he could fight that many monsters. Kain watched in curiosity as the Dark mage spoke the spidery language of magic and monster's fell in rings of fire, lightning and ice around him. In awe Kain almost ignored the few monsters that had noticed him and were beginning to close in on him. He snapped out of his trance and jump high into the air with a loud battle scream. As he dropped the world seem to slow and bend around him. He could hit each creature cleanly before he hit the ground with godly speed. He landed as light as a feather on the sand feeling stronger than ever. He looked toward the force to find him facing off against a gigantic armed monster with horns that reached into the sky and a chest that blocked at the sun. Feeling well equipped and able Kain sprinted in toward the beast and began to attack. Distracting the gigantic beast gave the force time to recooperate and prepare his next spell but as he did so the world seemed to melt away before his very eyes. Whether it was heat or exhaustion he didn't know but he did know he was out cold. Kain saw this in desperation as he was left to handle the beast alone. Raising his sword to his face, Kain charged at the beast's legs and slashed both in half at the knee. With a primal scream the huge creature, silhouetted against the sun, fell back into the see. With the waves lapping over its face, Kain turned his attention to the Force lying in the sun. The force began to come to said in a tired voice
"You should have left me, Nature should be able to act"
Kain was amazed at how stern and ungrateful someone could be even after he had saved his life.
"I just saved your life, so how about you say thanks and tell me your name"
The Force's dark eyes flashed with lightning and he sat up bolt upright.
"Your name is Kain Seibei, you don't have a home and prefer to camp on ragol if you can. Your mother died when you were 12 and left you with a father in the army. You went to stay with him and trained everyday with a pistol and sword. At eighteen you left him when you began to doubt what the government was doing was right. With your skills you began to take jobs at the hunter's guild and have been doing so ever since. Now, that cuts the small chat. By the way, My name is Dark Magician but you shall never need to call me by name",
Kain sat in amazement at the Dark magician and could not reply, Hell NONONE could reply to that...
Hope that's enough to keep you going until i return. Any ideas would be welcome.
