Pokémon Leaf Green & Fire Red both come out in the U.K. (& E.U.) on 1st October 2004.

I hope to get them because i knew Ninty were gonna do this as they did with Pokémon Red & Blue. I thought id just hold out and get a cooler poké title! Dunno which one though!
