mine little OS guide (who'd ever thought operating systems classes would be any use)
98: works on most stuff, Pentium and 16 MB - 32MB ram will run it
ME: donât touch it, even better beat the users with a stick uninstall it and install XP, its a very bugged up version and not many ppl will touch it
XP: takes a lot to get going compared to 98 (higher speed cpu, higher memory, higher disk space needed) but works a lot better and dos it still there with XP its just not as easy to get to (can w/ a boot disk) XP pro is better than home but costs more, then again not a lot of people actually pay for windows anyway with its ridiculous price tag
XP beats 98 hands down unless running on a low spec system, then it just wont work
