Akira, for me, was visually and theatrically astounding. However after so many years I have only vaguely grasped it, I mean I follow it perfectly but when it comes to the end I still have a lot of questions. I feel this is intended though, as the trend is apparent in many other animes, Evangelion for example. Either Otomo has ingeniously left me pondering, or I'm just thick :nervous:
