Melody clomped moodily into the kitchen, snarling to herself. She stabbed her finger at the table.
"Sit!"
It was a command, not a request.
Erina, Lazuli and Pleione sat down warily. The kitchen smelt very strongly of burnt bacon. Smoke drifted around the room.
"What are you meditating for!" Melody growled. "Eat!" Her fist clenched and unclenched, and a muscle above her eye twitched.
"I forgot to get the maple syrup." She turned to the cuboard, and opened it. In her hand was the syrup, and she brandished it like she was going to club someone to death with the bottle.
The other three dutifuly heaped sliced mango, strawberries tinned peaches and cherries onto their plates, and began to add their toppings.
Melody glared at the breakfasters, making sure that the fruit was eaten.
Erina sprinkled icing sugar on her strawberries. She nibbled each one, then sucked her fingertips in a cute gesture.
