it is about these 5 kids and 1 alien called an Andalite. The Andilites haev a techonogy that alows them to morph (change) into any animal they touch. They are out to stop the invasiion of the Yeerk speices. They are a race of slugs that crawl into the ear of another race and takes over their body through their brain. The kids are fighting until the Andalite aramda arives to save the earth. No other humans know about the take over they are fighting a war behind the scene of every day life. There are 52 books in the main series plus a bunch of seperate books that tell of other tales from all the other species involved. Can't say much more then that.
