Er... I don't really think so. :ermm: That's not how it's worked for me.
The theory I follow was originally suggested to me by a friend who has many characters - "lucky days" based on your section ID. He told me this when I mentioned my four Twin Psychoguns dropped to me by Love Rappies on a single day. His theory was that they followed the number of the day - like, 4 would be purplenum's day or something. I don't think the number of the day has anything to do with it, but I do firmly believe that your chances increase considerably on certain days. You know, those days when you find things in boxes you don't normally find? Like good units, or the occasional Varista, DB's Saber or [insertcommonweaponhere] in a box? About 75% of these days, I always find more rares with that character on that day. This doesn't seem to apply to boss drops, though... go figure.
