What's in a name? Nah, you're probably right. Jordan does sound a bit better than Rigney.
To me, fantasy worlds are great, whether or not you are able to save them. Fantasy provides a good form of escapism. Maybe not the best, but better than a lot of other means.
I actually liked the Harry Potter books! I had to reread the first book though, to flush out the disagreeance of interpretations when I watched the film. Sorry, film fans.
The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings were originally written for his children, yes. My eight-year-old sister loved them too. Children are smarter than most people think, eh?
I wonder if I should introduce her to The Wheel of Time series.
