Chapter 2: Truth
Now with the skeletons starting to attack he had no chose but to fight. He had no idea what was going on, or who was doing this to him. He just knew he didnât like it.
âAll right you bone heads, lets get this over with. It is time you met the blade of the greatest assassin, Grave.â He yelled as he brought his scythe into a ready stance. The first Skull Knight came, swinging his sword at the lone figure. He caught the blade in the corner of his scythe, stopping the Knight in his tracks. They stood there, face to boney face for a second considering each otherâs next move. Mean while the Skull Knights began to move in on them. Grave brought his scythe back around hitting the Knight in the leg snapping it in half. He then brought his scythe back around blocking the Knight behind him while crushing the skull of its fallen brethren under his foot. The second Knight took advantage of the distraction by letting go of his sword and swinging his shield around to connect to the back of its enemy. Grave stumbled from the blow, regained his footing, turned and yelled, âThat was a big mistake you will pay dearly for that.â As he said this he started to spin scythe from side to side, caching two more Knights beside him. The last seven started to back off realizing they couldnât get close enough to attack. The scythe in his hands spun at a wild rate, it looked as if it was one big blade. He them braced himself, and leapt through the air, blade spinning all the way. Four Knight got out of the, three werenât so lucky. He landed a few yards away, spun and through the scythe at the remaining Knights without turning. Two Knights exploded, while other two ducked. They started to close the space between them and Grave with rapid speed, Grave never moving. They were about to strike him down, when his scythe came back like a boomerang killing the last two Knights. He spun to catch his blade but it was not there. He looked around only to see the huge looming site standing before him, his scythe in hand.
âYou fight well. You will serve me well in the ranks.â
âIâm not doing joining your army, this is all fake.â
âFake is it? How do explain the Skull Knights them.â
He stopped to think for a minute. âPoint taken.â
âKnow will you join me peacefully or do I have to use force?â
âYou will have to use force.â He replied as he spun to hit the figure in the face.
The figure caught his hand in his, reveling the boney hand. âThat was not a good idea. I hope you like pain.â He said, using the other hand to take off the hood that covered his face.
Grave was in pain from the grip of the figure, but his expression showed no pain, just horror. âOh Jesus it isâ¦..â Before he speak the last of his thoughts the Reaper showed his face. It was just a normal skull like the Knights, but it had eyes. Huge blood red eyes, that seemed to pull on your very soul. The skull itself was covered in tattoos, and markings from every religion.
