Hitting the windows at Vol Opt's first form is a pure waste of time.
Do that in C-mode and don't expect many people to play with you.

Just concentrate on the red pillar (don't stand in front of it, and remember, the closer you are, the more damage its Foie/Gibarta/Gizonde does).

this applies to Vol Opt Ver.2 too, right? I figured it out after beating him in vhard with my RAmar, I only went after the flashing pillar and not the screen, the first form went by MUCH quicker.
