Now for the bloody chapter.
Chapter8: Mission 1
Grave turned to see the Grim Reaper himself floating there, scythe in hand as always. He came down a bit to come closer to Grave.
âI see you are doing well. I hope you donât feel to special little Necromancer for the Deathevn and Necromancer ranks are constantly changing.â
âOh thanks bring down the confidence meter.â Grave said with a sigh.
âDo not get to cocky. Now to business, I have a mission for you.â
âI thought that only the Grave Guardians were the ones who take your missions?â
âNormally they would but they are busy. Do you remember that Fonewman you so casually killed a while back?â
âYes. Why?â Grave said with a worried look.
âWell some of his friends miss him and have to close to the spot where he his. We cannot allow the Living to know that we have a presence here.â
âWhy is it I that has to do this?â
âWhy? Because you killed him and you left what was left of him there.â
âThat matters?â
âOf course it does.â The Reaper yelled. âWe try not to kill the living if we can help it, they do that for us. But if we must then we have to⦠clean up the mess so no other Living can see it. You have to go down and either scare them to death or just kill them. I care not, but make sure they cannot get back to report what they have found.â
âI see, and if I refuse this little offer?â
The Reapers eyes glowed and came face to face with Grave. âOh but you wonât, you canât either. Now go before they get back to there ship.â With that the Reaper disappeared leaving Grave standing⦠er floating there.
âIgnorant bastard. I will go down and make sure that they are⦠dealt with.â As an evil smile crossed Graves face. He had a feeling inside him, but he knew not what it was. He cast the Flux spell and when off to the Forest.
There were three people that the Reaper was talking about, and RAcast, HUmar, and the Fonewwearl from before. They were looking closely at their friendâs pile of ash.
âYou think its him?â The Newwearl asked.
âThis looks like his Mace of Adaman. Ya it is, here is name engraved on it.â
âWhat could have done this?â The RAcast asked taking the Mace in his hands and putting it in a safe place. As the Racast said this Grave appeared just to the left of then in a small bush. Unfortunately for them they did not hear him. Grave stared at them for a while studying them. He was dead but still was an assassin on the inside.. what was left of it anyway. They never touched the ashes out of fear of disturbing the evidence that might there. They had their backs to Grave, when he thought it was a good time to make his move. He came out slowly, biding his time, as long as they staid to fight he had all the time he needed.
âLeave and tell no one what you have seen, and you will live. Do not turn around.â Grave yelled making the FOnewwearl jump into the air.
âWhoâs there? Are you the one who did this? If so you are the one that will die.â The HUmar called back to Grave.
Grave had the evil smile back on his boney face again. âI shall answer. I am Grave, yes I did this and to late for the last one.â
The group turned and looked in awe at Grave.
âWhy is a Chaos Sorcerer doing up here?â The Newwearl asked the HUmar.
Before the HUmar could answer Grave yelled back. âHow dare you compare me to a Chaos Sorcerer. I am a Necromancer of the Undead Army. Now that you know that you will die.â Grave pulled out his staff.
âI thought the legends of the Undead were a myth? No matter, you think you can take on the three of us? Alright we will have at you then.â The RAcast cried back in a robotic voice. They all pulled put their weapons. The Fonewwearl had a Mace of Adaman like Hientz. The HUmar pulled out a pair of Musashi, while the RAcast took a pair of Twin Psychoguns.
âYou the Fonewwearl, leave this battle and tell no one what you have seen.â
âNo I will never leave not with what you have done to my husband.â
Grave thought for a moment, âHope they donât have kids yet.â
âI have given you a fair warning then, I would rather not kill you but you leave me no choice.â Grave said with the smile back again. On the inside he would rather enjoy this, for rumor had it that it was Hientzs wife that had set him up, but these had never been proven.
