Quick, dumb question about offline quests

It's the dialogue options you get that makes the difference if your hunting for the ragol ring.

Make sure to give Sue your Name. When you get a choice with Bernie say yes. And everytime you have sue in there, hunt down bernie and talk to him. Always talk to him, eventually he askes you to help him out and things go bad (scene that leads to Seek my Master.).

Aside that I don't know I thought I had Clinched all the quests in order also but Sue and Kireek didn't show in SoTH on top of the small plateau where the green teleportal is.

I know you have to do the Sue/Bernie subplot, that's about it. The Soul Eater can be done anytime, but the Sue/Bernie subplot has to be done before you finish that difficulty since once you kill Falz, everything that happened in EP in that diff sticks for that Diff I think. Trying again in hard... but bit worried since I already beat Falz.... didn't do the quests though.

NM I firgured out why they didn't show... sigh. Took wrong dialogue option on the second Sue interrogation.

I think I got it right in VHard. Unfortunately I'm still having trouble with the Sil Dragon in that skill and I'm not going to try SoTH until I can beat it (whose idea was it to have 3 of them? grrrr). So I have to wait awhile... *sigh*

Only thing that bothered me is, one guide I read (don't remember where) said that Seek my Master "stops" before you find Zoke. This never happened, although when I read the script for that quest it didn't seem to be much different (except Bernie talks a bit more, which he did, so I assume I'm fine). If only that site had a SoTH script... anyone know where I can find one? I read it a while back at PSOworld but their database is acting screwy...

i dont know... i dont know anything about the ragol ring, this is truely intriguing. When someone figures out how the seires of events are supposed to play out please post it so others(namely me) can follow in your foot steps. IMO plus was a waste of money tho cuz going online provides way more long lasting entertainment, more quests and opportunities for just 7 bucks a month(yay! im an advertisement in member form! lol) quite dissappointing:'(

AS far I can see.

1st is you tell sues name,
2nd time when escorting Mome you talk to Sue then bernie.
1st time you see Sue on Pioneer 2 you ask her about Black Paper and go see Bernie to tell him.
2nd time you see Sue on Pioneer 2 you ask her about her Purpose and then go see Bernie and it causes a scene where he breaks off Dialogue to see what's going on.

I know Dialogue choices with Sue and Bernie during those Quest will make or break your chance of getting the ragol Ring.
Then you make sure to complete Knowing Ones heart.
The rest of the bernie sub plot can be done, but I'm guessing it's always best to also do the Elenor sub plot as well.

Bernie should talk to you about something when you find his injured body ( he doesn't die. Just is seriously wounded.). If the quests stops there, might not in plus though since most of the faqs on this were made with the online non plus version.

Then when you do Seat of Heart after beating the gibbles and activating the switch that leads you to the tower. You should meet Sue and Kireek and have Dialogues between you Elly and them. Here you can choose to follow Kireek into the Tower do it with him. And when you finish (if you get the right switch sequences you'll still get fights but nothing overly overwhelming. Think you have to fight the 3 Ill Gill's/Epsilon in the end though.

Then once you do that, you go talk to Elly on the beach and she's supposed to give you the Ragol Ring. There's also a rumor that you can add a life to it by beating a certain boss in Ultimate. And another rumor of making it a permanent item if you beat all the Ep2 bosses with it equipped.

I'm close to testing it on V-hard. Might just go back to Hard though (I haven't done any of the quests on it yet.

Yeah, it seems pretty clear at what point Kireek would have taken over (what with the music change and all). At least now I see why people seem to hate the towers (at least those I've talked to). My character is now Lv. 75, and carries among other things a Delsaber buster/sheild combo, a Wals, a Guilty Light, and a Twin Psychogun (plus a God/Battle)... and I've died at least four times in my last session, in which I did SoTH without Kireek (in Hard mode, this is... I know I already screwed up my chances in hard mode). Then I did East Tower, and then went up to about the fourth floor in West Tower before I sorta ran out of time. Apparantly these are all available in Plus but you have to beat them in that order.

Aren't there special bonuses for beating the Tower quests online? I didn't get anything special for beating East Tower (just 10,000 meseta)... I'm hoping I get something of value from the West Tower...

As for Plus being a waste of money... not for someone who never had a copy of the original game. ;-) Heh. I won't be getting online for awhile, since my gamecube is in the basement and my internet hookup is... well, not. :-P

Offline Towers only give Meseta, only SoTH has the Ragol Ring as a bonus for doing certain quests in order. Think you need to beat Falz though before doing it on V-hard for the quests to stick.

You get more mesate per difficulty I think.

The Towers are better online where you get a chance to put percentages on S-ranks I think. Or also on rares not sure, using Photon Drops. And something else.

I think you can put percents on rares - I recently went to see a friend of mine because I'd found these Twin Psychoguns (four pairs in one day, it was freaky) and was going to trade him for some other stuff. Got several of the weapons I mentioned in my last post, plus a Stag Cutlery and an Agito which I gave to my HUmar. Of course he's been playing for way longer than I have (online he's known as OmniGuru, among other similar names). But anyway, he mentioned that he'd used Photon Drops on rares before. I can honestly say I've never seen 100% weapons before that day. :-P

As for Falz... I can't remember if I did the quests before or after beating VHard Falz. Crap... I REALLY hope I didn't screw up VHard too... *notes to hold off on the Ruins runs with the HUmar until quests are done*

i dont think that weapon can be legit then.. photon drops are used in a shop to add percents, this is true, however i belive that the limit for a percent is far lower then even 75% on a weapon. Although i am basing this on a hunch and could be wrong... anyway photon drops cannot be added directally onto weapons they are used to "buy" percents onto weapons up to a limit(of what percent limit i am unsure). And that's my humble opinion on that statement, unfortunatly i have strayed horribly off topic and cannot recover cuz im tired and lazy right now, so i will just ask the mod's to please excuse me this one time and hope for the best :S lol i dont think it should be that big a deal

I found an untekked wand with 90% (offline!!!). If i'll tekk it it will gewt 100%...
Its possible to get those high % but ist rare!!! extremly rare!

At gallons shop quest you can add % to your weapons... You can get 3 percentes on your weps... and all can go up to 300 so 300% would be the max you can reach... Each element can get 100%
