PSOW is not dead. As a member, and regular forum poster, I can tell you the reason behind why it is down.

The server PSOW was on at gamespy was recently hacked by some moron, causing psow's server to go down. While it was down, gamespy decided to do the entire server. Currently, it is only half way up. PSOW is missing it's mysql databases. What is mysql? Mysql is a database system that stores all the information for guides, and phpbb (the forums that psow uses). So hence, without this mysql up, PSOW can't reach any of it's information, and is virtually useless for this time being.

I hate internet vandals. PSO world was one of my favorite sites, and probably the most helpful one with PSO ever. I was an active poster there, and for the past little bit I've been looking for somewhere to post and look for PSO info.

So I guess that's how I ended up here. First post, woo hoo. Looks like a great site thus far.

Shinobu, for me it's the same story too. I went searching for a good pso fourm since PSO world went down and I ended up here. Our stories are about the same except I wasn't that active of a poster because I just joined PSOW a month before it went down. This site seems really good too, and this is my first post here too.

P.S. I've been reading your fanfic journal, i'm at log 30 now. It's really good, keep up the good work.
