Should I be in Ult. Mines?

hes an ass but once you get him down he isnt very hard, just remember to load up on resistances (especially fire and ice) before you fight him, i had a cure freeze so i was good lol

I beat Vol Opt V2, but only with my RAmar. Haven't beaten caves with my HUmar just yet... mines wouldn't be so annoying, IMO, if it weren't for the Sinows. You can't get those Sinows in a pain animation... it doesn't happen. My strategy with my RAmar was to get them to attack, run away from the attack as they do it, then strike with the gun when they jumped back. But it only works well if you're facing one at a time. :ermm:

vol opt is the easiest boss in ult mode to me. just bring sol atomizers and your fine. or bring a cure shock. aside from that if you dodge every one of vol opts attacks than it should be a snap.

oh, lol, just use Jellen and Zalure to weaken the enemies if your really having a tough time (sorry HUcasts are out of luck ). I never new Granz grew stronger each time they get hit (or w/e). You should be fine if you use Jellen and Zalure as well for extra insurance.

well jellen zalure arent need for the hucast as they have freeze traps.

I've been training in the Caves since like lvl 86, should I be able to survive in the Mines or no? Because I hate the Caves cause of the Music, and how long it takes to get through it.

i would not im at 111 and i still get my but kicked and im using a bkb

Well, the Sinows are very annoying, especially when taking 3 at once!
I say get your character to search for a decent sword in the Caves before attempting the Mines. Red Sword, perhaps?

hmmmm.......I didn't seem to have any problem in the mines on Ultimate....although playing Vol Opt 2 at lvl 86 kind of doesn't do too well. I'd say, if your having problems with Ult Mines, then go back to Ult Caves, lvl up abit then attempt to do it again.

Yesterday I took my HUmar into Ult Mines for the first time, specifically to level up. Had an easier time than I thought I would. Generous amounts of Jellen, sometimes Zalure... then run back and hit them with a slicer (that's what I did, anyway, but mine is a Red Slicer +10 with 20% machine ). Then when you have only one or two left, use your twin saber/sword on them (mine's a Meteor Cudgel +15).

I can't remember when I entered Mines with my RAmar, but I think I cleared it at level 95 (not sure though).

I think you should be ready. Try some Zondes as well. A HUmar isn't the best Caster, but it does help.
