the reason why i became legit, was mostly cause i've never really held up legitemasy for a week. i think though that if i can change my standards i can become a full-time legit. also i think that since i know all about cheating, i can be a better legit then what i would've been if i didnt already know about how it feals to cheat.

It's not so uncommon to go from hacker to legit, in fact i think smart people will always end up legit, or quit. I'm offline only with absolutely no choice to be online (service not available where i live) and always envied the people who could get cool stuff like mag cells and Sranks and gain mad levels on quests like TTF. I don't even get Plus, so no Demonic Fork for my FOnewm *cry* I spent a long time learning how to AR PSO, hunting down cheats that would work on my version. I ended up knowing how to do pretty much anything to the save file offline. So I made a new character and maxed her out on mats and gave him uber equipment.

And I remember the moment still... I was in vhard caves and suddenly I thought, this sucks.

So I deleted the whole card and started again. Legit.

Well, okay. I still use AR, but only for messing around purposes (like making a white FOmar with the tall hat and giving him a Hamburger mag and calling him IRON CHEF, lol) Nothing that would make the game easier. There's no sense of achievement if you play for real with a hacked character, and I speak from personal experience.

You can't be a part time legit, youre legit or you're not. This is a mainly legit community but I would point out that alot of hackers, like Vash, were and still are ok. You want to know what the point in hacking is? So that these people can get new things out of an old game. But to play it without even trying to be legit for a while, thats where the problem is. You can say "Hackers make the game less enjoyable for me online!" but the truth is I would never have leveled up so fast after i corrupted on TTF without them. No, I didn't accept any items or anything from them in any way shape or form, but I couldn't have beaten those bosses that early on without them so quickly. And if you think that's getting "Un-Legit experience points" I'm just going to say this. It's a game, your'e taking it too far, let some things lie. If someone wants to play differently to you, they're not truthfully usually hurting you or your game unless they do like 2k + damage, if they FSOD or harm other players, fine, hate their guts out, but be more open minded, please. It's not like they're diseased and need curing, It's not like theyre part of 'the dark side' so just let it be, what's done to PSO is done, for better or for worse. It's a game guys, not a way of freakin' life o.0
