Think of PSO possibiltys wid the New controller, u could hack and Slash through the game urself. My god i really hope they let us have that... and with manual gun aiming and u could even fire ur own Techs... (ponders in Thought) imagine the online multiplayer fights (Drools over keyboard)

How bout being able to peep around corners with this as well (as in FPS games). Instead of hitting a button and dieing due to the fact cause the guys head stuck out so far lol. This could actually lead to better gaming with the user interface. And if i remember correctly, some of the new games that nintendo is making will actually record how a player plays and increase or decrease the lvl of a enemy units AI.

I'm half and half on this new controller. To me personally... hmm, i'm not entirely sure. It seems like they've done a GameTrak (People who have made similiar type of sensor games like that recent golf game for PS2 - Crap with crap sensors!) but hopefully put a lot more time and effort into it that hopefully will work flawlessly. If it works flawlessly, i desperately want to play it, but i dont know if technology is there yet for that to be possible... time will tell i guess! I'm incredibly eager to play some new SSB-Revolution with this new controller and see how it works too! :S Theyve talked about how great this will be with FPS games, Sports games etc, but not fighting games! Do you chuck your controllers across the room to simulate throwing a bomb-omb? Lol! (I hope so! XD) Maybe a Revolution Controller is a weapon you can pick-up in the game, so you can slap them with it?
It's also great to see the big-wigs at THQ, EA Canada, Activision, and UbiSoft loving and declaring their partnership for Revolution games, but of course... where is SEGA?! :O Also once again... how will a WWE game work with the controller?! Lol! Dare i say whats on my mind, because that'll just be TOO silly
However, like UK Jester is prophesising (sp?), i too think Nintendo has just gone off too far from everyone else. Nintendo has said now many times that its making its own market to compete in, so dont bother comparing them to the PS2/3 and Xbox/360, but does that mean it wants to be in a market where it doesnt make any money? :S
Casual gamers will pick it up, and then put it down again. Other casual gamers who maybe had a Gamecube and like Nintendo stuff will buy this, get home, and return it within 10 days to get their money back! I dont like where this is heading for Nintendo unless it works out how to move this controller into a place where it becomes a more popular character.

I want to like it, I really do, but it looks really awkward to play with, particularly the analogue stick addon. I've been waiting for this for months and... I'm not exactly disappointed, but it's just weird. Very different - perhaps too different for most casual gamers (as Lee said). I really can't see anyone but diehard Nintendo fans (like me) even giving this a try... sad really. I'm sure it will be great, but maybe Nintendo should become more mainstream. It's what makes more money in the long run...

Hehe, maybe they should make 2 different consoles - One for mainstream that concentrates on technology like others have, and one for the 'new' market!

do not get me started on criticizms for the revolution controller i mean shit design or what a remote control that clicks on to an analogue joy stick can some give a worse dosage to the public of WTF that must be so awkward to hold plus a button on the underside of it *slaps the makers of the controller* people do not like conbtrollers that are awkward to hold especially if your hands are smaller like when the Xbox came out i could barely hold the thing luckily my hands have grown now but i mean come on nintendo use your bloody brains.
(No employees from nintendo were harmed in the making of this thread.)

(if!!) How do you figure PlayStation3 is out of the competition? Loads will still buy it even if it does cost a mortage of its own because it's still 'PlayStation'.
Anyways, how is a remote control hard to hold? Everyone holds them now! Many elders hog them all to themselves too
