...really?!
Just Tornado Dance him constantly, and have a lot of Photon Charges with you. He's really really easy. Especially stage 2. I did stage 2 without taking any hits.
Stage 1 is only difficult when he blocks, in which case, start attacking his big hand that attacks you.
With Tornado Dance.
Tornado Dance + Lock onto enemy = Ridiculous damage.
I cleared the Hive using only Hanzo and Nightwalker, and they were both greens. =/

Yeah, problem is that i've already saved before that battle. So I can't go back and buy anything... I have 1 Dimate, and 3 Trimates, that's it.

I didn't even know Bruce was in the HIVE.

Hell to the yes he is. There's a short cutscene there, where he's all like "I'm still a Guardian and, I bought my full inventory etc etc"
You can buy some pretty decent weapons from him.
I beat Fakis pretty easily, my Teroline made sure I never took too much damage.
I bought a Dark Heart for awesome effects as well. No idea what it did like, but eh.

Umm... Tornado Dance is actually relatively ineffective against Fakis for the sheer reason that the PP cost in relation to damage output is a bit... misbalanced. I took my Two-headed Ragnus and highish level Rising Crush to him and he was down in a minute or two. Fakis is not difficult... if you have a wand with Resta... wait outside until it's full. If you never got Resta... you've been experiencing the game at a lot harder than it needs to be.

Seriously? I've been through the game, and not used a single tech. Haha.
I got my Tornado Dance to level 30, and had 3 Double Saber types on my palette, and 10 photon charges with me when that battle started. I hammered Y, and victory was obtained. It worked pretty well. =D
Was hitting for 200 plus 5 times every PA.

Like I said before... that's intensely wasteful.

Rising Crush can hit 2 different parts of Fakis with every one of its 8 hits if you aim it correctly, so that's 16 hits, and I was doing roughly 210 or so per hit (go S ranked weaponry), and around 100 on his second form's tail, and 300+ to his actual face. XD So yeah... I prefer the less wasteful, killing him without needing a Photon Charge method.
You had the ability to use wands and techs... you've got 36 photon arts you can learn... why in gods name didn't you learn Resta? XD I mean seriously... you played PSO right... you remember our good friend Resta... why neglect it so? You hurt its feelings... after all its done for you, you neglect it.
