im sorry to put this view up but you also mite want to consider what else you can play online on the console. xobox has a masiive online library so that mite help. not that youd want to play anything other than pso

What about PSO BB? I have some really nice rigs on my network that would run the game great. Will it be unavailable in English or something, though? Paying for the HL would be no problem, and I assume I can probably download the game (level 20 demo or whatever). I guess you guys probably know just as little about BB as I do, but if someone knows those answers, that'd be excellent.

Actually, over the past couple years, i've really done a majority of gaming on PC. If you have some nice hardware running in your rig, games look and play real great. I havent touched my XBOX in a few months... and that's because I got Halo for PC. (Halo was all I had my XBOX for... like so many other people.) As for the Game Cube... well... let me confess... I don't have PSO for it anymore. When the time came that I gave up playing PSO, some kid wanted to pay me $80 for it, so I gave it away. That doesnt mean I couldn't get it again, though.

If BB is not an option, then I would probably side with the Game Cube.

i play both versions extensively,wat i learnt:

xbox pso-more of a social game because of the head set,ill play the game and chat with ppl for hours,ive made some m8's who i talk to contantly,so when i go to play psox i go to play it coz i wana see my friends and ofcourse play the game. however this version of the game is hacked to the high heavens,nobody is legit on this game and i can only play on the EU servers

gc pso-in many respects this version is more serious,u can have a joke and a laff through txt chat,but its not the same,so i just end up playin the game to better my characters and see my clan.cheating isnt as bad and of course you can access all territories

basically m8 u wana ask ur self,do u wana play a serious rpg in traditional rpg conditions [txt chat,no cheating] or do u wana play an rpg that can be very serious but also has a greater social aspect to it and slight fact that u got over 50 other titles to play.

theirs also the pc version,but that aint gona be out for a while

yeah i agree with maverick. You have a lot more online capabilities with the x-box and there a lot more games online for the x-box :alien:

I'm going to kill myself for selling my PSO for GC. I've looked at stores everywhere, and none have copies. Actually none have copies for both GC and XBOX, and only a couple even had Episode 3.

Wow... this blows.

Believe me, if me buying the game online was an option, I wouldn't of bothered posting this, but as you can see, it's not.

EDIT: Yeah, and actually, the game isn't even listed on any major game store sites... like EB or Gamestop or BestBuy or CompUSA. It's almost as though the game never existed. :'(
