No more fixing Dreamcasts

Again, not an opinion. I still fail to see what problem you have with me here, you agree that hardware eventually breaks down which is precisely what I have said. stop it god-ix, discuss this in a PM, this thread is about the news of dreamcast and the latest is dreamcast will stop beeing repaired.

i have some good news and bad news for those who the controler ports stop working.
the good news is that if you only play with 1 controler, no matter if it has memory cards or not, replace the F1 (location in board) resistor by a paper clip, remember, 1 controler, if you plug a 2nd controler the dreamcast fan, laser......will fail, meaning the dreamcast will stop working until you remove the 2nd controler.
i've tried to replace with a resistor, i only know it should be above 11 ohm, i've tried 3.9 to 5.6 ohms resistor and they blow instantly after i plug 1 controler, tomorrow i will try an buy some of 7,8,9 ohm, all i know is that 10 ohm is way to far for vmu(s) and vibration pack to work perfectly.

if nothing results then it's the paper clip for me, wich is good because the paper clip will last forever. "image"

another smart idea is to put a fuse connection, so everytime the fuse blows, simply replace with a new one.
