Questions About Poliffy Slime (spelling)

I am hunting many items which I get from a poliffy slime (spelling). In which quest do you find the most of this enemy in one room? If you clone it, it there a chance of the clones being the rare form? If you do find the rare form and clone it, will the clones also be it's rare form? And can the clones drop items???

Yes, clones can drop items, yes clones can be rares. I don't know what the best quest for them is, however, but to clone it, hit it with the 3rd move of an attack combo.

Split Pofuilly Slimes can be rare, they can drop items.

Split Pouilly Slimes can be rare, but with the same odds.

If you kill any slime, pipe and come back, they won't drop any item.

cure/freeze or TP/revival?

so if 1 slime dies no other slimes will drop weapons? is that true with everything (i.e- confusing an enemy)

I'd hunt Cure/Freeze. You go to Addicting Food, in Caves 2, and pipe in the room that is TWO rooms after the waterfall room. There are two slimes in the third enemy wave. To the northeast is a healing ring so you don't waste fluids.

Kefka: Heh, yeah, I'm doing that hunt you were doing now (Lavis Cannon from Pouilly)... the last three piping sessions one of them accidentally got killed, so I know at least one half of the slimes were void... but I never saw one after that, either. Horrible luck. From someone who piped 63 of the things, are there any tips (besides leaving the pipe on the other side of the door) for keeping them from killing each other?

Revivals suck from what I hear, get a CureFreeze, Addicting Food is decent in Slimes, but stop at the ending of Caves 2.

And Nomad, when I was piping them in SoaB (Addicting Food has a shorter route to Poufuillys) a lot of them killed each other, however I piped back and kept on getting two organic Slimes, which is good.
