I'm sure Ganandorph or Vaati is in it. That's what it seems to be every time so i don't expect to much difference in the bad guys

yea, ive kinda been wonderin that to. in wind waker u killed ganondorf so who will the new bad guys be? theyll probably make up a new one like they did for loz:mm or maybe theyll bring bak a guy from one of the old games. i think that would be kinda cool.

More Zelda news anyone?

In this Month's EGM, there is a section on the latest Zelda adventure with the basic storyline opening along with some minor revelations (well, confirmations more so) in the very anticipated plot.

The Story Begins...
Staying close to the traditional Zelda means of introducing Link to a different time period, the team have decided to place Link as a cowboy who lives and works in a rural community that's on the outskirts of their world. However, Hyrule isn't out of the question and is said to play a major role in the storyline. Within the village of Toaru, cows are raised and sold to Hyrule Kindom as their means of income with the two regions having said to have a strong relationship with one another. Along with Toaru there are several other villages that gather in Hyrule for a festival where they communicate and celebrate together. The village chief/leader is supposed to attend each year, but instead Link is ordered to go..

On his journey to Hyrule, Link encounters what's said to be an accident that leads him unexpectedly into his main role in the adventure.

EGM: Will this Zelda be about rescuing the princess again?
EA: Yes, the story will involve Zelda, and the story will involve Ganon, but of course the plot won't be identical to (those in) past Legend of Zeldas.

EGM: Where does this Zelda fit in the overall series timeline?
EA: I can't really go into that, partially because I want to keep it a secret, but also because we haven't decided yet. There are some kinds of...unstable, uncertain ideas we're working on. Depending on what course we choose in terms of developtment, the final ending may change.

EGM: Is it safe to say there is some major gameplay element we still don't know about, like the sailboat in Windwaker, that will remain secret until just before the game comes out?
EA: You're right.

EGM: Is that why the game name still doesn't have a subtitle? Will the full name give something away?
EA: We really don't know what we're going to do with the subtitle at this point. (It could work the other way around)-maybe there will be some kind of mystery about the title, and somewhere in the course of the gameplay, you'll realize it's meaning.

EGM: From what we've played, the combat feels exactly like Windwaker-we noticed you can still smash shields, knock off helmets,etc. Do you have any changes planned?
EA: (Remember how) In Windwaker, if the enemy comes within a certain range of Link and you press the A button (at the right time), sometimes Link will do a special attack? We think that worked very well, so we're thinking about intensifying that aspect with this game. We've already added some things, like a jumping downward stab. We're going to incorporate more of those cool-looking performances (and a few other changes). People are going to see that this game is pretty different from Windwaker.

Fishing makes a welcome comeback into the adventure.

Chicken Gliding also makes a return. Bottles anyone?

Link will get a wooden sword that he'll use for training and learning sequences.

The interesting aspect of the latest information is what seems to be a gradual and more story orientated plot where players break into the adventure. Granted, the previous adventures had a similar scheme but the next installment seems to have a slower, more traditional means of learning how to play without detracting from the main adventure. How past characters and the expanded Hyrule will come into play is very interesting indeed, and hopefully E3 will reveal more..

I hope the charas from Ocarina pop up. It and MM had the most interesting NPCs, I mean look at Saria's elfin mug and tell her you don't love her. Plus Ruto and Nabooru rocked.

WW had pretty crummy races. All of our faves had become extinct. The Koroks I loved, but I really hated the Rito, I was hoping they would all fly into power lines or get eaten by cats.

I thought Ganon was pretty dull anyway. I thought Veran was way cooler. I mean a weird blue woman with bat sleeves, and liked to take over people's bodies? I thought she was a pretty dark character, even if her final form was a bit wimpy compared to Onox's.

So I am guessing this is not OOT's Link? No sages or anything, sniff.

But I love the Cats! The pigs were horrible, I love the mad chickens, but you know me, CATS! I will probably spend the whole game petting them. Don't you think cat attack will look cool? Hissing spitting, clawing, I cannot wait!!!

It is the WW Link...but I don't know about which races. But I'm sure there will be some of the old races and probably some new ones also...I have heard there is no little kid form...so...I dunno? I can't wait for it's release
