The games Nintendo make, are supposed to appeal to EVERY group...just in a different way than Sony
Sony only really try to make bad games. And they are really bad. With out trying insult sony... Atari are better than them.
Anyone caught smoking at Layer Road will be buried in the
centre circle by the forking groundsman, with only their head
showing, and left there during the second half.
Previous threats of electrocution, being made to listen to Will
Young and being hung from the floodlights have
failed to discourage all the smokers.

If Cardiff players had to stand and pay respects to an English national anthem, would they? I don't think so.
But Arsenal players manage to do it.

And that is a matter of opinion, this is the WRONG thread to be trying to argue with ME about Sony...in a NINTENDO thread...so I will not state any argument as to not close this thread...PM me or post in a different thread if you wish to argue.

It's always about appealing to everyone at any age. That's what makes Nintendo special. Let's stick with that.
(Opens eyes, looks over to see the burger king guy staring at him with a burger.)(Kicks the crap out of him, steals the burger ties him down and makes him eat the piece of crab.................) I'm going to kill you ( complements to Stewie, your my hero.)

No, damnit...if you were a kid...unless you are a seriously deranged one..you will NOT like stuff like Final Fantasy, the puzzles are to hard, I know a little kid cannot compare to it..

The Nintendo TRY'S to make games appeal to everyone, but they are so easy, but addicting, that it gives off the appearance that they appeal only to the little kids..

Just to wet your appetite even more regarding the Nintendo Revolution...

Nintendo.co.uk Wrote:Nintendo, the world leader in video game innovation, has stated loud and clear that they are not to be overlooked in the next generation home console race with the revelation of several unique features of the company's next console system, code name Revolution, to key media outlets.

According to the early information, Revolution will combine powerful technology and gaming-focused features in Nintendo's smallest home game console yet.

In its final form, Revolution will be about the thickness of three standard DVD cases and only slightly longer. The versatile Revolution will play either horizontally or vertically, allowing the user total flexibility in setting up a gaming session wherever they have a television.

Thanks to Nintendo's hardware development partners IBM and ATI, the small system will be packed with power that will enable it to wow players with its graphics. Nintendo's legions of loyal fans will be happy to learn that Revolution will be backward compatible, playing both Nintendo GameCube 3-inch disks along with its own standard, double-layered DVD disks in the same self-loading media drive.

In the next generation, the addition of the Internet will be important to all consoles and particularly important to Nintendo. Revolution will be wireless Internet ready out of the box.

There's much more to Revolution that will be revealed over the coming months, but the combination of its compact size, wireless Internet, backward compatibility, quick start-up time and quiet, low-power operation add up to the start of a great game system. Get ready for the Nintendo Revolution in 2006!

So, thats a home console thats just slighty bigger then a Gameboy, and will load games from anyside up (:S), that plays Revolution stored DVD and Gamecube games in the same drive, with amazing graphics, internet ready capabilities, and if Cube-Europe are to believe (Frontpage news post), wireless controllers. Ermm... how long will it take to walk my dog? Big Grin

That is great news..it can play both Gamecube, and the new disks..muahaha..

The bigger disks would mean longer gameplay then?

IGN now aparently have the exclusive Nintendo Revolution Pictures:

Lol! Thats just a mock-up actually, unless thats the new revolutionary design :S It will however be about that high and wide, and play discs from DVD size and Gamecube size, as ive already said.

But, while on the topic of mock-ups, this video (Aparently made by a fan - And flipping well made at that, youd think it was a Ninty video!) showing of the Nintendo Revolution has appeared on the internet, and can be seen on IGN.com by clicking the link in this article. Nintendo On? I hope not!

I've been a long time Nintendo Fan and I must put my insignificant newb opinion here.

I got my first taste of gaming around 1990 when I came back to America. (My father worked at the US embassy in Lesthoto ...look at a map of Africa-go to the southern point, brilliantly labeled "South Africa" and there should be a tiny dot labeling this miniscule country)

I was given an NES as a gift from a friend of my Dad's and my life has never been the same. I only had three games. Blaster Master, Super Mario Brothers, and Pac-Man. Life has never been the same for me since.

I was surprised at the release of the Super NES (I was pretty young and things like this were new to me) but eventually I got one and armed with a copy of "Super Mario All-Stars" I became a true "addict".

when News of the new "Ultra 64" began spreading-I was old enough to know what everything meant- and I began preparing for its release. Super Mario 64, Ocerina of Time, and Super Smash Brothers are still on the list of my top favorites.

"Project Dolphin"...anyone remember that name? I was a true Nintendo loyalist at the time :: My logic? they had never let me down. I saved up my allowance in advance for MONTHS before the release date in preparation. When It finally came out-I lacked sufficient funds for games. but it didn't matter. I had the most powerfull gaming system ever in my possesion; and when I finally GOT a game I was completely BLOWN away! Super Smash Brothers Melee. I was so awed by its graphics, sound, and power I had to keep taking breaks because I kept getting shaky and tired. I was blown completely out of my socks and I have NEVER looked back. (except for re-releases of some of my favorite games I enjoyed as a little kid. Ahh the memories.)

If you have had the patience to read through this post (and the spelling errors) you will realize that I am a Die-Hard, Loyalist, patiriotic Nintendo Fan. And it saddens me to see my poor little friend doing this poorly in the videogame industry. I KNOW the "Revolution" will blow me away again. and I am hoping that this will bring Nintendo back on top. I am looking foreward (and saving money) for when the day finally comes. NINTENDO HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN!!!
Coop: Jamie, quit screaming like a GIRL!
Jamie: Dude, its not me- its HIM!
Driving Instructor: AAAAAAAAAIIIIIEEEE!!!!!!
Coop: YOU!....stop screaming like Jamie!
