transferring characters, is it possible?

in offline mode, i was wondering, is it possible to transfer a character accross memory cards? i think, you need 3 memory cards, put 1 into slot a, 2 into b, transfer character from 2 onto 1, put 3 into slot b, transfer character onto 2 which you just put into slot a, then put 1 in a, 3 in b and cancell the transferred status, then you should have transferred the data from 2 to 3. does this work? or will it give me an error/ corrupt my memory card (eek!!)

you only need 2 cards...you have the card with the characters you want to transfer in slot B. Go to multimode and select an empty TEMP slot and transfer who you want (never ever cancel the transfer status unless you do 'return to slot B'....when you transfer a character all the items go with it and if you cancel then all your items erase). This is very handy when you have like 3 friends over who all have characters on their cards.

It's not possible. Believe me, I have lost all of my items/mags/weapons to this two times and I gave up. It's not possible from what I've seen and heard.

god i tried this once...i was whiping my one card becuase it was useless so i transfered on of my characters over to temp slot and whipe...tried to put it on the new card but it didn't work....i was pissed...i think theres a way to do it but its not done without cheating...so you shouldn't even look into if its not legitly done

There is a slight/not really there, glitch that allows you to clone(really it's more of a copy and paste type thing,done with transferring and temporary characters) characters. I don't know if this is on the web but my brother and I once discovered it. But they only stay on the temporary data, and they will have no wepons(You have to give them some), after your done. But I assume that's as close as you can get to copying them without cheating..... :/

I know what youre talking about Teh! Doesn't clone items though, and it oly goes to temporary data. I rana around with 4 of my lvl 110 hucasts doing hand to hand combat before my corruption in ultimate forest, heh, it was hillarious! But there is actually a trick t do this to the permenant data, involving precise timing of pulling out and shoving in mem cards whilst its saving. However, I would not reccomend it to anyone because it is extremely dodgy with about a 60% chance of corruption. My freind failed it twice and pulled it off once. He wont ever be doing it again, heh

Yea, trust me. Theres NO way pretty much. I had to restart my data a while ago due to the third party memory card and I was going insain trying to copy the data...
