I am anticipating getting this game for my birthday, most likely anyway.
I have watched video after video demonstrating this game's technological capabilites and wonder. I have come across but a few faults and downers to owning this game. There is some mature content as well as potential minor glitches (choppiness at specific scenarios), neither of which I have any problem with. Also, it is reported that there were fewer boss battles than some people would have liked, considering the enjoyability of the bosses that are there. I have also read up on this game on several different well-known and trusted gaming sites including GameSpot.com and IGN.com. They both gave excellent reviews, and their ratings for God of War, respectively, were 9.3 (plus recipient of GameSpot's Editor's Choice Award), and 9.8 - both superb ratings.
But, cutting to the chase, those of you who have had the pleasure of playing this game, what did you think of it? As you can see, I like to research games before I actually pick them up. Putting my head where my (or my significant other's) money is, evidently. My brother had rented it at one point, but I did not get to experience it for myself. So, opinions, please. Thanks!
Truly,
Double Edge
